Slushatel

The Road Is Lonely. You Don't Have to Unravel Alone.

Slushatel means listener in Bulgarian, a name chosen by a Canadian founder whose love for Bulgaria and the digital nomad community grew out of a season when lonely global travel nearly broke him, then helped save his life. We are building a direct, zero-judgment peer listening network for location-independent people, with a professional handoff when a moment becomes a crisis.

No feeds. No streaks. No public profile. Just a private path toward an open ear.

Built for the in-between hours

The platform for the moments people usually carry alone.

01

Solo in a new city

The map is full and the day is empty. Slushatel is for the gap between arriving somewhere and belonging anywhere.

02

Running a life across time zones

Remote work can look free from the outside and feel completely unheld after midnight. The network is designed for that truth.

03

Burned out but not broken

Sometimes the ask is not advice, diagnosis, or a productivity hack. Sometimes the ask is a person who can stay present.

The first product shape

Fast entry, anonymous matching, human contact.

Step 01

Say where you are emotionally

Choose a simple state: isolated, burned out, or just need to talk.

Step 02

Enter the right queue

Need an ear or available to listen. Matching starts with simple human availability.

Step 03

Open a private room

Anonymous text and audio rooms, with no social handles or public identity layer.

Emergency Net

Safety boundary

Peer support with a clear professional handoff.

Slushatel is not being built as a clinical provider or crisis intervention agency. The product roadmap includes a visible emergency pathway that routes acute danger toward local emergency services and dedicated professional crisis lines first.

Casual loneliness and burnout route to peer listening.
Maximum urgency routes toward professional emergency infrastructure.
If someone refuses formal help, peer backup is framed as a human backstop, never clinical care.
